WHAT WE DO
Located in Pune’s prime eastern corridor is a 2.7 million sq ft IT park comprising two office blocks that provide companies with warm shell and fully fitted office spaces for immediate occupancy. Its sustainable features include an urban farm, rooftop solar panels to generate renewable energy.
Problem Statement
The structural load on the building has increased due to a change in the utility or function of the upper floors. This change, such as converting spaces for heavier equipment, additional occupancy, or new infrastructure, places greater demands on the building’s load-bearing elements, potentially impacting the structural integrity if not properly assessed and reinforced.
SNDT Solution
NDT initiated the project by conducting visual inspections and non-destructive testing across strategically mapped floors and zones, working closely with various consultants. To achieve structural integrity, SNDT employed a range of techniques, including epoxy grouting, carbon wrapping, carbon fiber reinforced laminates, and RCC jacketing, ensuring the structure was reinforced and stabilized effectively.
