Cement Plant was established in 1986 and after that the plant started producing cement. The total annual production of cement is around 5 million tonnes of cement.The Manufacturing Products of the plant are Ambuja Cement, Cool Walls, Buildcem, Railcem, Alccofine and so on.
Problem Statement
The cement plant showed signs of structural degradation in silos, support beams, and columns due to heavy loads, vibrations, and chemical exposure. Cracks, spalling, and corrosion raised safety concerns. SNDT conducted a thorough structural analysis and non-destructive testing to assess the damage and recommend repair and reinforcement solutions.
SNDT Solution
SNDT resolved the cement plant's structural issues by using NDT to assess damage and applying epoxy grouting, carbon fiber wrapping, and RCC jacketing to reinforce beams and columns. These solutions restored structural integrity and ensured safe, reliable operation.
